Ok ive heard of this before, The a-5 with the ajuster on the cylone is so if u are using brittle paint. You can turn down the adjuster with out worry of breaking paint. Its basically like your velosity screwon your gun, just for the hopper. You turn it in so your hopper will be able to handle crappy paint with out paint breaks. What i dont understand is why did it come with the adjuster on it?

makes sense, but the adjuster is on the gun body directly above
the steel fitting which feeds the gas to the cyclone. It would slow down/ speed up the cyclone revolution maybe? |

No. personly my a-5 doesnt have one and i dont need one. I very very rarely have breaks. And my a-5 still doesnt chop even if im using <poopy> paint. But if u want one call tippmann and ask them about it. I think there like 10-20$. There one of those optional things from tippmann that u can get with or without an a-5.

No, no Tippmann marker has ever come with one, just above the cyclone piston housing (tube) is the velocity adjuster, same on the X7.

No its not the velocity adjustor. and its not above the piston housing. It is above the banjo fitting that comes out of the marker. I went to the local shop, and all the new A5's had one, but they didn't have any X7's to check. |

//http://naki.freeforums.org/viewtopic.php?t=200 Here's a link to a couple of pictures of two a5's together. Note the extra screw on the one with the expansion tank shoot, sorry you have to register on our forums to see it. Edited by hawkwindnz - 16 December 2007 at 6:19pm |
