I just got a new 98 custom platinum act gun and started using it. After around 400 rounds the gun went to full auto even after i released the trigger. It may be because i ran out of co2. There is an o ring in the back of the gun that touches the end cap, sometimes it slides to the bolt and sometimes it gets stuck is this supposed to happen?

It is because you're low on CO2. The oring belongs there and moves freely in the rear of the marker.

So to stop it i would just take off the co2 tank?

Yes.

When the pressure is below the recocking pressure you get that braaaaaaaap.
Some players stop the cocking knob with their hand, I wouldn't advise that.
