    Posted: 20 May 2008 at 6:03pm

just installed an r/t on my 98 pro..anyways, when i fire it, it tends to double fire..well not really..i find it acually hard to NOT hit the sweet spot..like i cant semi without it double or triple firing.. and its not the spring cause when i disable the r/t it shoots fine.

i really wouldnt be complaining..3shot burst is kinda awesome..but id perfer semi/auto than 3shot/auto

if this makes a difference, im running co2 on it btw.

Have you tried adjusting it? Turning the adjustment screw all the way in and backing it out a bit at a time?

small steps. pull back ever so slightly till it fires repeatedly  and then adjust speed.

What everyone is telling you is to adjust the r/t for a slightly slower rate of fire so that it is easier to squeeze off single shots.
