i just got the kit on my 98c and it will not recok with the cover for the rerar bolt on can any one help me?

i had that happen to me too when i put the LPK in it. I know this sounds harsh and un necessary but it is how i fixed it ....

I split the caes and took a dremel and grinded down the case so that the those little sileder threads sat flush on the case. Then once i screwed the plate on i even grinded down the threads a tiny tiny bit to make it all smooth. Mind you ... i don't really recommend doing this unles your comfortable with grinding metal and sanding. You could screw it up if you grind too much.

There might also be another way to fix this but since no one posted you a reply yet i figured i would tell ya  how i did it.

Oh and ... always wear safety glasses when grinding metal! :-)

Yes, check the plate screws that cover your cocking slot, that's what it is, but you shouldn't have to grind it, just ensure they are pushed tight against the inside of the reciever and it should be fine.
