I like your ups but sand it down again and dont put such a thick layer of paint. 3-4 thin coats and some light wet sanding is all you should need.

paint does look bad, trigger guard is smudged, screw heads are painted and flaking and the paint is way too thick. if it were mine i would blast it and repaint.
