its so strange like weeks ago i said drops are stupid then everyone was like your dumb drops rock then all of a sudden every message board i go to people say drops suck strange huh.

when i had my a-5, i found that the use of madman springs, and a rva lowerd the air ussage alot.
 screw the velocity adjuster out so its flush to the body, so your not blocking any air in the valve.
 use a stiff spring (takes less air to shoot it at higher velocity

 i also found polishing internals helped out air ussage alot as well


Dude a stiff spring doesn't increase efficiency, all you're doing is holding the valve open longer, same with polishing internals (to an extent) you could lower the pressure like that, but it would be very inefficient.
