I bought an A-5 e-grip with WAS board but i have had problems since day one ( marker firing it's self ) i've sent it in 3 times and Tippmann has agreed to replacing the WAS board with the new AEP board if i send it in a 4th time. Would the AEP board be less likely to have the problems that the E-grip with WAS board have? |

The APE is just another board, yes it performs better than the WAS, but I would try to work out my problems instead of just replacing the board. Sounds like you need to get familiar with the WAS. What you are talking about, the gun firing itself, seems to resemble a bad dwell setting or a micro swich problem. read your manual for the WAS board on adjusting your dwell setting. Most likely you want to up the time from the stock 6ms to maybe a 10ms setting. This will make the gun check to see if its ready to fire again at a slower rate therefore preventing a run away trigger. Hope this helps.
