Sorry for posting this ...

The Ak looks sweet!!!

And did anyone notice that not only was Craw's spelling bad, but so was his grammar???

Sorry ... had to kick the dead horse one more time.

I give it a 10/10 ...

I like it all.... My passion is Mil-sim though. Our AK-A5 - Complete Paintball Gun is $750....but our AK-A5 kit is only $499.

And yes its worth every penny!

Firstly, the M14 was an AMERICAN gun. Designed to replace the M1 Garand. The British used a copy of the Belgium Fabruique National FAL called the L1A1.

Secondly, the M16 is not one of the crappiest guns ever made. It certainly suffered from some reliability issues when it was first introduced, but this as due to a number of reasons. The weapon was designed to use bullets with a certain type of cleaner burning powder in it, but the military suppliers used dirtier powder, wich increased the ammount of fouling. The soldiers were told the weapon needed less cleaning than the M14, and they took this to mean no cleaning. The enviroment they were using it in also wasn't one of the most user friendly.

While the AK-47 definately has the reputation for being one of the most reliable weapons on the planet, it is mainly this way to its super simple contruction, which has very loose tolerances. This in turn leads to decreased accuracy. The sights on the AK are very simple and they havea relatively short sight radius. While there are some AK's that are decent tack drivers, when compared gun for gun the M16 series will out shoot it.

The modern M16 has more or less done away with the reliability issues. The modern M16 and the M4 are weapons far superior to the AK-47 and are only restricted in performance by their ammunition.

As far as this A-5 go, it looks absolutely beautiful with the folding stock.

It also makes a change to all the M4 and MP5 look alikes on the market.

Would I buy one? If I could, I probably would. But at the moment I've got better things to spend $700 on than a paintball gun.

Let me think would i rather have my paintball gun look like a HKS MP5 of a AK-47. Well the ak is the biggest P.O.S. ever why would you want to waist the much money to make your gun look worse. IF i ever play paint ball and i see an AK-47 paintball gun i am going to shoot them i dont carew whose team they are on. yuo shold have spent the money on up-grades because in the end no one cares what your gun looks like it will be covered in paint. Its not how the gun looks on the outside but what its packing on the inside.

Tippmann A-5 and 98c both with flatlines, response triggers 14 in J&J edge kit. 16 inch ceramic, stock, and a few up grades a old time paintball gun maker added to the gun

plus a old KP3 paintball gun alonmg with a PGP both guns are origional

Granade launcher

plus another 14 guns i dont have time for explaining

the way to play paintball is in the woods of Michigan

GO BLUE!!! University OF MICHIGAN Fan for all of you who dont understand

Nice job! I have only one question though... is that hand guard steel, ABS plastic, or solid wood? Anyways, i have an M4 98 Custom i've been working on since last year (when i have the $$) and once i saw that AK-47 kit for the A-5, i knew that that there was gonna be my next milsim project. I hope that the hand guard is solid wood because i don't except anything less than the REAL thing. Once again, i applaud you and your AK-47 A-5!

No cuz there are a few different versions of this kit. The cheapest one is a SPETSNAZ AK-47 kit which is made of high impact ABS plastic parts. Another version is a light duty AK-47 kit, which is pretty much an upscale version of the SPETSNAZ kit, but still includes the high impact ABS plastic parts. However, A-5 Guy looks like he has the real, authentic, genuwine AK-47 parts just modified for .68 caliber paintball.

The spetsnaz kit is from Opsgear.com along with the "light duty" AK kit. But yes all the parts that are on my A5 are from a real AK-47....the hand guard is real wood.

But I didnt make this kit, Thompsonshooter owner of Engler Custom Paintball Guns made it. Im just a sales rep for him. You might see him around here every now and then.
