Heres my A5 'Hk33', recently repainted and modded slightly 12" werks barrel or 16" progressive. 2-6x32 illuminated scope, howitzer bolt, flat-top mod and a few minor tweaks here and there. Took a long time to make the parts, being in high-school and some [other] sports, modding is low on priorities. Turned out nice I think. Enjoy

Ya, the stock and shroud are weird, but from what I can tell you made those pieces so you get an 8/10 for originality.

I'm not gonna lie, I want to say "ugly," but I can truly appreciate custom work. Vacuum molding? Just keep trying at it, and I'm sure it'll look good!

It's all hand-made, my very first mod I've ever done. Did this last winter. I've since sold her for $425. Fibreglass

I assume the odd shape of the stock prevented interference with the mask?
I too respect originality; not bad at all. |

Ha, thanks for the compliments guys. Yes, the stock's shape is so you can get some good sight clearance. Even with a v-force armor I used to use I could use my sights pretty easily. I oringinally had an M4 stock on there then built that trying to get it to look more like a G3/Hk33 sort of thing. I'm not to disappointed about how it turned out.

use a male mold for that?
one thing I've found makes nice male molds for glass work is to shape it out of regular styrofoam (like you would use for packing) and then glass over it. after the glass has dried you can use acetone to eat out the foam, course you need some way of proper disposal of the mix of foam and acetone, I have a bin at work so I wouldnt know were else to take it. |

Sorta, it's just glass and cevlar composite over a foam core. I never did try to burn the foam core out. I was planning on doing that then making a mould to make several of them as players at my local field were interested in buying them, but I never did get to it. I'm working on a 98c sniper (oops..said that word..where's Snake? |
