i was curious if a flatline can out shoot a stock b2k3 or autococker?

the range is determined by fps... the flatline is accurate but has thesame range as any other gun... autocockers are mad accurate, the b2k3's arnt bad either.

Umm buddy please don't talk about something you have no Idea about the flatline is the only barrel that shoots a different range than any other gun on the same fps. Every gun will have basically the same range except for a tippmann with a flatline. |

here it is flatline= distance, not accuracy. regular barrel is more accurate than the flatline. it matters what you mean to what you want me to answer. do you want distance, accuracy what. the flatline is as accurate as the stock barrel for it. |

To summarize in actual English: All guns without Flatline barrels shoot the same distance when set at the same velocity. That includes Autocockers. Any gun with a Flatline barrel installed will shoot further than any gun without a Flatline, unless the non-Flatline gun has velocity jacked WAY up. Flatlines are currently only available for Tippman M98/98C and Tippmann A-5, and preinstalled on Flatline Autocockers. Theoretically, however, Flatlines could be installed on any gun with enough work.

Nicely done, Clark Kent. Flatline 'Cocker or insane FPS are the only way to catch up to a Tippmann/Flatline combo marker in terms of distance. As for Flatline accuracy ... if you can aim, you should be able to hit whatever you want with a Flatline. Of COURSE accuracy will wane if you are shooting at a more distant target. Man, I hate all of the persisting Flatline misconceptions. Perhaps this experience I recently had will help put the Flatlines' capabilities into perspective. This particular incident at Wreaththu made me fall in love with the Flatline all over again. While on a mission to blow up bridges, the Wreaththu had a man up on a hillside, and a guy on our (human) side, dumped about a half a hopper through his Impulse trying to take this lone guy out. I said "excuse me", stepped around him with the 98, fired a 4-shot burst. The guy on the hillside stood up with a nice big splat on his gogs and announced, "Out." It's a beautiful thing! DOOM ON YOU, unbelievers! |
