You may be right, I get confused pretty easily. ; -) I thought the HPA
was nitrogen??? Looks like I will have to do some more reading when I
get home. (I'm taking a break from work to check out the forum).
thanks for replying.

The air you breathe is 78% nitrogen.
How the word nitrogen came about. Is in the early days of paintball, people bought "air" from welding supply stores. Which is pure nitrogen. As more and more paintball stores starting buying compressors and filling their own tanks to save money. The words high compressed air (HPA) became more common. |

I am pretty new, i have a 98 c ultra basic, my friend has a 98 c pro. neither one of us has chopped a paintball ( mine is non act, his has act) except for when i installed my e trigger and i think i have a bolt issue but thats another story. 98c's are good at NOT chopping balls. I rented an older 98 c and shot about 600-700 paintballs and it never chopped a ball, it did not have ACT. Id say pass on the ACT and get an ultra basic, i hope my comment has helped.
