If any of you have put the xchamber on, and the vertical feed thing, you know that theres this hole on the bottom side of the gun, well i think i might have a leak there, or co2 coming out of it. Well i here co2 comeing out of it, but i dont know if thats normal, is it? if its not, do any of you know how to fix it?

are you talking about the vertical adaptor? if it's coming from the valve, you may have stripped the threads from the valve when you threaded on the VA. (it stinks that the valve's made of soft aluminum, so it's easy to strip/cross-thread the valve). i'd suggest taking the VA off, and putting some teflon tape / loctite on the threads, and try re-threading it back on. if it's between the VA and the actual expansion chamber, then i'd do the same thing with the threads on the expansion chamber.

Is the leak coming from the marker all the time or only when you fire? The vertical adapter can be leaking where it screws into the power valve (where it would leak all the time when connected to gas). Or there could be a leak were the VA itself is soldered together. Take the left side of the shell off, then re-attach the gas bottle. If you still cannot tell where it is leaking, squirt a little soapy water on the joints and watch for bubbles. |
