whats the best way to field clean the apex barrel? i notcied after 1 ball break its goes to h3ll since it relies on the backspin from the rubber thing.

Mop type swab works well for me.

any swab will do alright.  Paint in the front block will not really effect accuracy though, as long as there is no paint on the inside of the actual barrel.

The rubber covered ramp has to be clean of paint for the Apex to work. Even if you are making straight shots with no backspin the ramp still touches the ball as it does by depositing paint on it and impacting accuracy. Paint in the barrel has less impact but if it is there it will get spread into the backspin mechanism.
