is this a good idea to use anti-syphon co2 on my new b2k4 w/pds cause nitrogen and compressed air tanks are too much money and i would need to buy a halo b too so that would use 100 dollars just in that so basicallly i dont have the money for a nitro or compressed air tank but i do have the money for a 20oz anti-siphon co2 tank |

Co2 is not as clean as HPA and its still going to frost over the insides.

The reason is that the reg doesn't do a good job of keeping C02 away from the noid. Most regs in the market today besides the Palmer and Max-Flo can't deal with C02 at all. C02 is not dirty that's just a clich'e that people use. Anybody pick any dirt out of their internals after using C02? ** room gets quiet **.....see what I mean? It's just a relatively unstable gas and the cold nature can have a negative affect on o-rings, seals and intricate parts.
Where the dirty clich'e came from is most places don't clean the large fill tanks out and rust can settle in the bottom of them if they set empty for a long period of time. Since you need a siphon to transfer liquid, it transferes liquid from the bottom of the tank and can transfer it into the bottle that it's being transferred into. Hence the 'dirt' thing. If there was rust in your marker, you would notice it when cleaning it out because it would leave an orange cast on the cloth or whatever you use to clean it with. Anybody seen an orange cast on their cleaning articles? ** room gets quiet once more ** Some places even use a filter on their fill tanks to keep any debris out of what they're filling. I've used the same 20lb tank for about 15 years now and never noticed anything of the sort and I don't use a filter. It has never been empty in all of that time though - |

CO2 is fine on bushy. Just anti-siphon it and use a reg, like a
fatty. It'll be fine. If you are going to get a HPA tank,
and you need something cheap and good, look at 3A tanks.
