Dear all, I am new to this sport and I have just bought an a5-egrip last weekend.

When i burst it jammed...a paintball broke inside the marker before coming out...paint all inside. I managed to clean the barrel but how should I clean the inner parts of the marker? If I dont clean it...will it be alright?

You're not going to have your marker blow up or anything but you should take it apart for the following reasons:

1. You have an excuse to take it apart now- it's important to know how to properly maintain your marker if you want it to last you a long time.
2. You might have more chopped balls in the future- by that I mean that the remants of the old paintball may get in the way of the new ones as they are fed from the hopper, causing accuracy issues and possibly more burst paintballs.

I would clean it. If the paint dries up, it can become sticky and you don't want your gun to stop working because the olt is sticking on to something.

Ok...I tried to clean it without stripping it as I am worried I might screw up when putting it back. I took off the barrel and used cotton bud to reach all possible area inside it. There is still some paint along the tiny gaps and at the bottom of the orange plastic which holds the ball(i dont know what is it called)...Hope it works fine for now...in future i will try to strip clean it. Thx
