in no way am i a master at paintball and im kinda new at it thats why im here. When i first got my gun i went to my friends house and we and other people played paintball, i tripped on a root and broke the feeder on my gun. so i bought a new one and its all installed fine and dandy. But now when i shoot a puff of air comes out and sounds fine but the ball just rolls out the front. Other people said it might be the orange thingy cus it is pointing straight up, its supposed to be curved. Can anyone tell what the problem is? Thanks whoever answers
P.S dont use technical terms cus im stupid

the orange thingy is a ball detent, it holds them in the barrel. What marker do you have?

You should specify what type of marker you have and any after market changes/additions that were made.
However, based on the fact that you can see the "orange thingy" (ball latch-you should also learn the proper names of parts) I am going to assume you have some version of the 98. The ball latch should not be sticking straight up. As pointed out by your friend it should be curved with the curve starting at the part that is towards the rear of the marker and moving upward so the front of the part is actually a little above the bottom of the chamber. As I can't understand how just breaking the feed elbow would do this to the feed latch I have to ask if you have disassembled and reassembled the marker. If so, the part may be in backwards. Not knowing the technical terms does not make you stupid, it just makes you uninformed. A little time with an owner's manual will take care of that. |

if the latch is in backwards, the bolt pressing into the backwards latch could cause an incomplete firing cycle, as well as a rollout.
