Hey, I'm looking for a semi-automatic paintball gun that's not bulky, is cheap and reliable. Any suggestions?

Triumph, cheap, and has the same internals as a 98 custom.

And looks like something displayed at the "Worlds worst art" museum. And its made of plastic. So long to Tippmann durability... Edited by TippmannBro - 01 September 2007 at 1:06am |

Hate to break it to you, but as far as reliability, a mech Triumph is just as reliable as a 98, unless you beat your marker into rocks and trees.

I say go with the 98 Custom ACT. The advantage over the Triumph is the build design. There are alot of phillips head screws in the triumph and that makes it alot harder for field stripping and cleaning.

I'd have to go with the Tippmann 98C. I beat the living heck out of mine when I had it. Never let me down.

yeah. u better be jokin about the brass eagle.
jk. yeah, as i stated before, 98c ftw. and after u get used to paintballing, u dont have to buy a new gun to get more firepower, there are so many upgrades to choose from that will put ur tippy on equal terms with angels. or as close to it as u can get with a mech Edited by NC1004 - 05 September 2007 at 6:10pm |

Well since WGP Autocockers are much nicer than any marker in the Tippmann line, and there was a huge price drop, making them less to buy new than any Tippmann marker, I would have to say the best bang for your buck... for a new, inexpensive, mechanical marker is a WGP Autococker 04 Prostock.
