I've been shopping around for a decent X-Chammer for my A-5 since C02 sucks on it right now. I was looking at the X-Core 8 Stage, ACI Sub Zero 6 Stage, and the offical Tippmann A-5 X-Chamber... does anybody know which is better and have the pro's and con's of them?

Go with a Palmer's male Stabilizer. It's actually a reg that can be used with both CO2 and HPA.

With most regs, you shouldn't run CO2 through them. But a few, like the Stabilizer, are meant to be used with CO2, as well as HPA. So you don't have to worry at all using CO2 with a Palmers Stabilizer, if you get one. But if you decide you just want to get an X-Chamber, then the X-Core is your best bet. ya I don't know if it's bad compared to the X-Core. I have the tippmann one too. It works well that's all I can say. Sometimes you can see gas CO2 shoots out the end of the barrel when shooting fast. It's very confortable. That is why I bought it mainly cause it looks good with the gun and is super confortable. I know the X-Core has 8 stages anyone know how many stages the Tippmann exp. chamber has? |

The DOP 8-stage expansion chamber is the best for the money. $20 most places.

Yeah, get a Palmer Female Stabilizer and that is all you need. Much better control of pressure, no liquid into gun, more shots per tank, and under $100 is a good deal for all the performance you get from one. Highly recommend Palmer Stabilizers or Nitro. Palmer with co2 is cheaper. |

If i remember correctly, tippmann x-chambers are 4-stage.
Ill agree, they are VERY comfortable (i ran one before i switched to HPA), but you should have got the x-core. A palmers is the best choice though. |

The store still hasn't gotten them in and they said they can't install it because of my "Drop-Forward" which is crap I think they are just lazy, I guess I'll order a Palmer Stablizer in about 2 weeks, thanks everyone! By the way... is the Palmer a X-Chamber\Regulator? What I mean by that is is it a 2-in-1?
