    Posted: 16 June 2005 at 1:00pm

Last night I was at the sporting goods store about an hour and a half away from where I live.  It was my first time in there, and I went back to see what paintball stuff they had.  I saw a BKO in the case and asked the guy if I could check it out.

SO there I was holding the BKO (they also had a B2k4, but it's a little expensive for my taste) and I think that I'm hooked now.  I've always wanted to upgrade to a better marker than my 98 Custom, but I don't have good access to HPA and my tank has a tiny leak in it, so it looses about 1000 psi a day until it falls to 1000.

I don't know if I should just rent a nitrogen tank, but that would be really expensive.  I just wanted some opinions on what to do.

Send your tank to a airsmith to seal it up.($10?)

Also, your BKO wont cycle much faster then your 98c without PDS, and that is a $150 upgrade.

-Good Luck!

Hmm.  I was just wondering how much better it was in accuracy and all of that.  I really want an accurate marker, maybe moreso than how fast it is.  I still want to lay down some paint, but I really want something more accurate than an open bolt blowback marker.

just buy a good barrel for your 98 like a Ultralite, or a good barrel kit. And for speed, try getting an R/T?

Pfft, you'll still shoot 15-18 BPS with a BKO dude. Significantly faster than your 98. PDS really isn't necessary, although it's nice.

I'd vote Ion over a BKO. If you can afford it(I'm assuming this BKO is like $180-$250).

Ion was another of my choices.  If I get a palmer, would it be alright to shoot c02 with the Ion.  I know a stock Ion will freeze with c02.

Yeah-Palmer Stabalizer, and an anti-siphon tank. That should work well enough.

Nice sig.

Thanks.  I really don't know who will do an anti-syphon around here, but ill try to manage.  Only thing is, if I get an Ion, ima need a better hopper.  What is the cheapest that will keep up?

ION is actualy more expensive than an 04 BKO no PDS. The BKO is a faster gun than the ION. Or you can pick up a 2004 B2K PDS for $299 probebly less.

Yeah, i noticed that.  The BKO is around $250 and the Ion is nearly $300.
