I am trying to rebuild my 98 custom and was wondering if it is worth it? Also it is this older but famous marker still up to it? |

Depends on your definition of rebuilding and what is wrong with it. With that said, used 98C's are selling used in the $40+ range and there isn't exactly a shortage of them.

I have all the parts except some spings and pins and screws. It has been awile scient I've played and I'm just worried that my 98C isn't up to all the BS markers that made me quit. You know any where to go (I live in Fairfax VA) where every thing is just K.I.S.S.

If you are talkiing about high ROF markers, things probably havent gotten much better. Check www.tippmannparts.com for any missing parts for your 98. They carry pretty much everything you need to get it back up and in shape. You can always upgrade the 98 with an Response Trigger, Cyclone and others if you feel you need to try and keep up. You may even be able to look on Ebay, Craigslist, PBN or some others and get a nice upped 98 or other marker for a deal.
