Hey all, I live in Colorado and a new theme park has just opened called Mr.Biggs. I go there every now and then and last time I went I tried their paintball arena. I enjoyed it so much that I'm going to purchase my first marker and get into the sport. But which one? I'm sure this question has popped up all over, but I want your guys' opinion. Right now I'm looking into a Spyder Victor but the reviews on it say its now a good marker. The specific problems that I heard are that the barrel is awful and that the bolt sucks and needs to be cared for more than others. I dont want to pay more than $100 for my marker and equipment (including mask, 12oz CO2 tank, and a simple $4 hopper). What are your all's opinion on the marker and what others would you all recommend? |

It's going to be kinda hard to find a good marker that is less than $100. My suggestion would be to go to http://www.800paintball.com and look around. GOOD LUCK AND WELCOME TO THE FORUMS!! |

The model 98 is as reasonable as you can get , and still get a good reliable marker , its purchase price is just over 100 bucks . masks and other stuff you can pick up online fairly cheaply , but its gonna be near impossible to get the whole set up for under 100 dollars , unless you buy (shudder) Brass eagle,, (dont do that , you'll get a poorly made product , and get discouraged , .... what guns did you use at Mr Biggs ?

I would buy a used M98C.
Get a cheap V-Force mask($20) and a 200z tank for $20 as well and you're good to go. You don't want a mask that's gonna fog or to only have one tank and constantly be running out of air! Buy the bigger tank since it should only be $20 anyways and will give you about 1000 shots per fill, and buy a V-Force mask so you KNOW it won't fog and will give you clear vision. You can polish out the bore of your M98C's stock barrel to make it more accurate, or you can try and find a package deal when you buy your gun. If I was gonna buy another Tippmann, it would be used! |

Yeah, you could check E-Bay.
I would also look on the Pb Review,PB Nation, or A5 Owner's Group Buy/Sell forums to see if there's something you like. |

He wants a cheap gun, meaning he probably wont be upgrading. So why would he buy an already upgraded one? The procustom is just a 98C with an E-Grip for an upgrade and a drop and double trigger stock.
