 I cant decide what type of barrel to get for my a5. im looking at either a palmers or lapco big shot. im attaching apex tip to either. i was looking at a nonported palmers but heard the ported was better. then heard it didnt matter, also cant decide on what type of bolt and power tube. leaning towards a rap4 powertube and a shocktech bolt. looking for any info.....Confused

what about hammerhead, jj, freak, stifi, smart parts, it all depends on how much you are willing to spend

The only bolt/powertube configuration I would use aside from stock is the (new) Rufus Dawg Wicked bolt setup.
It will shoot brittle paint better than any other bolt out there.
I have tried lot's of bolts with no noticable affect performance wise over stock.
 
Search barrels on the forum. There are tons of opinion threads on which is best.

i have had some decent success with rap4 aftermarket parts, i have one of their chili pepper red power tubes in my 98c platinum...works just fine....didnt do anything with the bolt though....
