Is it actually possible to remove the tank o-ring because the thing looks like a damn tight fit?

Remove the o-ring for replacement? Or remove it altogether?
If you need to replace it, it can be removed using any sharp/pointy object. I use an old dental pick. Then just "roll" the new o-ring into place. It's okay if it stretches a little while you install it, if you use a quality o-ring it will still retain it's shape and size once in place. If you mean to remove it altogether... it is necessary to have the tank o-ring in order to create a seal within your ASA. Lack of o-ring will result in a leak. Edited by ShortyBP |
