Colored C02 I think it would be a good idea. Like green puffs in woodsball instead of green. IF they can change the color of N02 than why not CO2. I use comp air but its a good idea

It's a good idea but I think it would be a waste and pointless. It's not like the puff is going to stay there long enough for it to be noticed enough.

I think the only way to accoplish something like that is to mix a seperate colored gas in (no way to "dye" gas that I know of).

In a HPA tank, the air is kept in a gas form, in a co2 tank the gas is kept in a liquid form.  For HPA there are many gasses that can be compressed to 3500 and 4000 psi and maintain their gas form AND have a color.   For co2 you require a colored gas which can be compressed into a liquid form at the preassure co2 is kept.  I dont know of many gasses that could be mixed in with co2 for a low cost to color the gas.

Plus if you did dye the gas, the dye would get all up in your marker.

The “puff” you see when firing a CO2 marker is not the CO2 itself, rather it is the condensation of the moisture in the air around the CO2.

N02 is nitrous oxide... you can probly get away with filling a C02 tank with N02 since they are under the same pressures. but it would be expencive. its 13 bux a pound at one car store in town.

HPA/Nitro tanks use eather high pressure air or pure nitrogen.

First of all:

"Like green puffs in woodsball instead of green."

Green puffs instead of green, What were you smoking when you wrote this.  Maybe you should read over what you typed before you submit it.Wink

Second of all this is the dumbest idea that I have ever heard of.  What the **** is the point in having a colored gas.  They would be able to see the puff if it was green or white (like what I think you tried to say instead of green again).  Plus you are probably one of those people that say "Just Shoot Me"! I think this should have been in the poll for the dumbest ideas posted about two slots above this one.

ABSOLUTELY NOT.

thats actually a really good idea, and should be tweeked to where the c02 should put out light puffs of grayish gas.  which in return would make scenario paintball more realistic.

Because I can.

Well it is a good idea but seems like it might be too expensive.

I agree with Hitman 4 Hire when he says that Purdy should lay off, it is a good idea, im sure that if you came up with an idea you wouldn't want people ragging on you for it.
