Contact the Canadian Customs service and ask them. It is always better to get information like this from the people who are enforcing the laws.
Have fun while in Canada. |

Yeah, those Canadians are strict. I would call them in advance and have your C02 emptied.

Calling seems like the best bet. However, I don't see where they could confiscate it if you were to tell them that you had it, and what its use is (that is, if they can't assume it by hearing the name).

Well I just got back from the States and I'm from Canada. I was flying and I took my gear and had absolutly no problems. Customs didnt care, but it was the airlines that did though. They suggested I dont bring my tank if I didnt need it (so I didnt) and I wasnt aloud to bring in any paint. I'm pretty sure it works both ways.
Oh and whiteknight, get a life |

are you driving? if you are driving they wont even check, just keep it in your bag. if you are flying you will need to fallow the airline's rules
