I saw in a another topic a custom board can make the A-5 do 30 bps whats a custom board and can the A-5 handle that the cyclone cant it can only do about 22 BPS. So would i have to take off the cyclone and put on on a HALO with RIP like the guy in pb2x magazine.

Do you really need to shoot that fast? The cyclone has problems around 25 or so. And anything over that just stops feeding. I'm ordering a few parts right now from Tippmann to see if I can fix the problem. As far as the board... ITS CUSTOM. have someone custom make one for you. |

Like who. n bsp; i Really want to keep keep up with the players at the feilds timmys and angels. I can only flank the newbs so many times before they figure out who to bunker me with 62 bps. Whats a board anyway. my freinds can put out about 24 and it would be cool to keep up.

You dont need to shoot fast to keep up with those guys. You really dont. All you need to do is keep cool and aim. If you want something faster than a E-grip, get a RT and them mod it. A board is the chip that controls the sear actuator that fires the marker. |

now if u programmed a e-grip to shoot 383643737bps thats great, but no
matter how fast the e-grip can shoot, the gun can reach that limmit and
neither can the feeder

No the ballistic e-bolt for 98 custom made by ballisticsports can be fired at 30 bps, but the 98 custom internals wouldnt put up with that! Around like 20 bps they would start chopping

Yeah, I need to just sticky the story at the top of of this forum lol. Here is the short version. I drove up to the paintball store. The had many many many many markers there. 1500 Racegun Autocockers and such. I tested them all out. They were fast but need batteries. So I asked the owner, "Is there a marker that can shoot as fast with out batteries or then need for a battery powered hopper?" He showed me the A-5 I shot it loved the way it recoiled and kicked. Especially the way it looks. Bought it and all the modds they had for it at the time. spent 1500 that day. The proshop here sell everything at MSRP price. I guess they need the money or something I dont know. The only reason I still buy from the shop is cause I hate waiting next day for parts. I'd spend the extra money any day to get my stuff today instead of next week. I know the Cyclone cant keep up at 25. Thats why I said the cyclone has problem at about 25 bps. |

No the cyclone doesn't chop at all. I have never ever chopped a single ball in my cyclone. Even when I got to the limit and when past. When you get the limit of what the cyclone can feed it stops feeding. I don't really feel like getting in to a debate but the cyclone doesn't chop. Now I have busted paint in my barrel but never in the cyclone.

ah thats chopping bud^^^^^^^ when your hopper cant keep up which in this case is 18 bps for the cylcone. Anways the bolt hits parts of the ball makeing it break then paint all goes in your internals and barrel.

woah 25pbs, I think some on is Full of
Unless you Had like the Ultimate custom job on the E-grip I couldn't belive anyone saying there gun can go over 16pbs let alone 25? And also whats the point on getting you Cyclone to feed at 25pbs??? Anything under 8 is good enough for me... I dont think there are very man guns that can reach 30 pbs anway... you'd have to have super sonic walking fingers to get that fast.

Oh boy, the never ending debate of pbs again.....like what dtfastj stated earlier above...."Do you really need to shoot that fast?" And if you think about it, speedball tournys dont allow full auto modes on the player's markers, so whats the point of havin a marker shootin more than 15pbs and jus to let you know I read an article somewhere that a player suffered a concusion (hit 12 times to the head) from another player during a speedball match and that his marker was set on full auto. And some of you more experience players know who Im talkin bout, the person who shot the guy 12 times was banned from the sport. And the question still remains....Do you really need to shoot that fast? |

I know what chopping is and my cyclone has never ever chopped a ball. The only time I have ever busted a ball was in my Flatline and that was shooting 1 shoot at a time. The cyclone can keep up until the end. Where it stops feeding. What part of "stops feeding" do you not understand? When you get up to past 20 the cyclone stops feed because there isn't enough air going to the cyclone to make it spin. With the RT and some simple mods you can get it to a rate of fire way over 20. Some where close to 30. But shoot down is so bad that at that the paint doesn't fly very far. Take it from me. I've done just about ever mod on the internet and some of my own to get it up past 20. And it doesn't help anything if you can't aim. And the brings me to the question. Do you really need to shoot that fast? |

I know I dont need to shoot any higher than 15 bps, but just for fun, what if you bypass the trigger so that the sear never catches the rear bolt. I heard of some one doing it to their sl-68 2 but since it's a pump, the bps is controlled. In a 98c or A-5 the rear bolt should move back and forth on its own so it would be like an un capped full auto. How many bps would that make? And with the polished internals would the gun be able to take it?
