Has anyone used the cyclone feed on thier 98c? How well dose it work with your marker? And was it worth the cost, did it improve your marker?

I have a cyclone feed on my 98c. It works great and costs about $60 with shipping. It was definitly worth it. I went from feeding about 4 bps to feeding 16 bps. No more chops with my r/t. There are no batteries to replace either.

Great product. But for the price, I personally prefer the Evo 2.

ya get it....because gravity feed either don't fee and you have to shake it or it doesn't feed fast enough. this is a good hopper system....
and most of all...NO BATTERIS!!! |

I have one and I love it. It's got a lower profile, does not use
batteries, does not chop, and it's light. My bro has an egg with
z board and the only good thing about it is that it's on his gun and
not mine. Paint just loves to pop in that egg and it's such a
pain to have to clean it every game.

The Cyclone is a great choice for the Custom 98.
I tried a revvy, purchased a realoader, and neither truly kept up with the E-Bolt. The only option I had seemed to be a Halo or reloader B. The Cyclone was half the price and works just as good. The 98 does not have the tap off of the power tube, to run the RT or Cyclone. Yes I can be modified, but not without some machine work and a new power tube. Edited by Kevin Z |

There is no hole on the unmarked side of your marker of where the line would hook to. To mod it all you would have to do is buy the kit....mark where the thing would come out....then drill a hole. Then it would work. |

If you don't want to risk messing up your gun if you aren't confident about drilling into it, you could also send your gun and the cyclone feed to Tippmann and I'm sure they would install it.

yes that too...cuz you might mess up and drill the hole in the wrong place. Best bet would to send it to tippmann...and you can do it now because it is winter, so you don't have to worry about waiting to get it to play.
