Folks I have researched the manual and the tech area and need help still. I have the a5 and the cyclone keeps going two turns then nothing at all. I have repleaced the ratchet, I have remove the banjo's and run some comptuer dust off through them and they are okay. I checked the power tube replaced the orings just to make sure. It still does the same thing, air it up and turns two times and quits. The plunger when I use it manually it turns. Tank is full no problems there. Suggestions besides sending it to tippy. Thanks in advance

Have you tried it with balls in it?
Do you have any aftermarket mods in it, such as an LPkit, or RVA? The balls will create backpressure, sending additional blowback air to the cyclone. My other solution, take the banjo fitting off the back of the cyclone, and put a couple drops of oil into it. Then manually cycle it a few times to distribute. |

Are you using a R/T? Be a little more specific as to what you have on your marker for which this things could be causing the problem and it will help us figure out your problem so we can help you. Remember the cyclone works on blowback, meaning it cycles (or turns) everytime the air is going out or in this case going back. Also check the screw that goes on the tube of the cyclone and make sure is not all the way in which it might prevent air flow, unscrew it and screw it back on but this time dont screw it in so hard, just to the point where is tight enough to be sealed.

Also let us know at what temperature are you using the marker, i believe you are using CO2 and you might be getting liquid CO2 in the marker, that will make the cyclone do what is doing. When CO2 is liquid and hasnt expanded into the gas, the marker wont have enough pressure to work and cycle the cyclone. That might also be your problem.
