Cyclone Pro Balls and CycloneSystem?

I've got a n00bish question:

I bought some Cyclone Professional paintballs and I tested them out with my Tippmann X7 and when I shot slowly there were no problems.

However, the moment I went to go rapidfire ,the balls would start exploding in the barrel every third ball or so.

I'm thinking I've got my fps on my X7 too high, but I would like to know if the balls could be a factor too (as I've heard that the Cyclone System on the Tippmanns like the A-5 and X7 don't like certain types of balls).

Probably a bit high, around 300. Though, that was before I fiddled with it and turned it way down. I don't know for sure, since the last time I got it chronographed the kid really didn't know what he was doing.

the shell thickness of the paint can make a big difference, the cyclone tends to man handle paint a bit and can cause breaks if you are using poor quality paint. you said you were having barrel breaks through, so check the paint to bore match, you might just have really big paint and its having trouble with your barrel.
