Ever seen a brand-new AK? ...me neither. [ painted the "wood" this afternoon
after work. Here's the result.
Here's the look I'm going for. You can easily see how combat wears on these weapons. ![]() Edited by nauzerlvr - 06 September 2006 at 7:26pm |

Awesome. J/w your the guy that made the real one with the "wood" parts to right? I still like that one better
but they are both amazing and 200x better than what I will ever be able to do.

I'm going to do the "wood"treatment to this one too, I just haven't had time to do it yet. This technique really isn't hard to do. In fact, it'e very easy! I'm glad you like it. |

Another work of art. I can't wait to see the AK after you do the wood style paint. |

looks great, scratch up the grips and cut little dinks in them and itll look more real, like the grips, the front grip, and the stock, make them look more beat up

Yes I do paint other peoples guns. and the stack of Ak's is from a US Army photo taken of a captured weapons cache in Iraq. BTW I still have that gun, it's one of my favorites. I've always liked the AK's Edited by nauzerlvr - 04 September 2006 at 8:00pm |

None taken.....let's see your guns. I don't think I've ever seen one of your guns posted here. I'm not real wild about the black either. I'll probably do the wood tonight or at least this week!! Edited by nauzerlvr - 05 September 2006 at 4:03pm |

Yeah, as a matter of fact I have! Next time do your research first before you flame someone.
And let's not forget the Galil, the Israeli "nice" version of the AK:
