i just picked up a used a-5 with e-grip, apex barrel, and some other goodies. but i am having huge problems with the e-grip!!!

i figured out how to program it and everything but no matter what firing mode i put it in, it just keeps going full auto...even if i release the trigger it keeps firing!!!!

i replaced most of the o-rings and lubed the marker......any ideas?

i'll check that next!

the bolt doesnt show any signs of wear around the area it catches the sear so that doesnt seem to be the problem.

i've been looking at my trigger assembly all morning and i think i found a few things that may be contributing to the problem.

1. the trigger i had in there did not have the metal clip and spring that comes in contact with the sear. i put my double trigger in because it had the best contact.

2. i have 2 different sears.

-the first is longer and comes in better contact with the trigger but it sits lower and may not be catching the bolt.

-the second is so short it doesnt come in conact with the trigger but it sits higher and should catch the bolt better. it also has a larger hole where the sear pin sits and the sear is able to move because of this

ok, with the longer, lower sitting sear the gun goes full auto and it doesnt seem to be catching the bolt.

with the shorter, higher sear the trigger has a harder time tripping the sear.

either way my marker is not working!

any ideas?

where can i buy a new sear? are there different types?
