Egrip fried :(
Today, my e-grip fried, had to replace the batteries, so I put my new battery, then after smoke started coming out and I was like oh crap. So now my e-grip ate up my new battery in a period of 10 minute, and my egrip doesn't do anything but show a faint light whenever I put a new battery. Can I get a replacement e-hrip, or better yet, somehow get a response trigger, which was what I wanted in the first place. Tippmann should give me a new one right? I've had it for less than a month. Also, I am missing some parts, which was lost in the incident(trigger spring and 2 of those metal pins (the thing in the trigger, there's 6 of them)). With that said, I am very disappointed with tippmann/wicked air sportz product. I've only used this grip 2 times and it fries on me. Fries the day before going paintballing again. I wish I've gotten a R/T. *sigh* help would be appreciated |

well the first thing you have to do should go without saying. Contact Tippmann and see what they are willing to do. The grip is only a month old im sure they will do what they can to make things right. No one on here is a miricle worker we can magicaly fix your board. In a situation where your dealing with recently purchased products your first call should be to the company you bought it from. If that yeilds no resaults we will see what we can do. Talk to them.

I upgraded my sons A5 marker from a response trigger to a HE-grip right before Christmas. The e-grip did not work properly and went through batteries very quickly when compared to my X7. I called Tippmann and they had me send the grip to them for replacement. The process was easy with no problems from Tippmann. Another option if you don't want to send the grip in is to ask them to send you a new board. They are easy to replace. You might have to send them the old one first as the boards are around $70.
On the missing parts just download the schematic for your marker from the Tippmannn website. It's shows every part in the marker. Write down the part number for each missing part and call Tippmann. Again they are usually very good at providing replacement parts for small items like this.

Being a little self sufficient on these forums is a necessity. Forumers tend to help those that at least attempt to help themselves.
Lastly, Tippmann techs don't typically come onto the forums, so you have to rely on other forumers.
