electro magnet pb gun

   any one know what an eletro magent is? well its magnet that is "activated" when electricity is run through it.  Now my idea is that the trigger will complete the circiut to the magnet (no sear, lighter pull) and the magnet will drive the bolt forward, this will make the the bolt much softer so it wont chop balls. The ball is then fired. when the trigger is released the magentic field will go away and causing a spring or even another magent to bring the bolt back letting a ball drop in for the next fire.

What do you think, any thoughts, think it would work?

	Of Course it would work What you need to realize is that it would take a big magnet. Someone once was building a ram with a door bell dinger. It would eat batteries. The same concept drives the selenoid air valves in electronic markers. except it takes very little current to run the valve. Then the compressed air has the power to drive the bolt with suffecient force. Yes it would work if you want to haul around a car battery.
