thermal mask for sure

what mask do you have?

cause a better mask is more important than a better gun.

Paintballing is a new hobby for me so bare with me.

Turns out I don't have a thermal mask.  So I ordered this one.  Got some wicked reviews.

I'm pretty sure Vantages use Profiler lenses, which aaren't thermal.

yeah nice mask

but any mask you get is not 100% fog proof.

especially if you sweat a lot

I was one of the unlucky ones to get a retarded lens from that bad batch of proto's... Pissed me off a bit, got a new fancier lens (fade.. oohh... ahhh) and it works great.

Proto FS is a good gog, I like em more than my old profilers.

I play woodsball so I have my mask on for alot longer than if I played speedball. I think it is a JT.... anyways it has a fan built in... which means it never fogs at all. its a little louder than I would like but hey Id rather see than hear any day
1 paintball gun package=$150
1 case of paint=$50

You can get anti-fog spray/gel too, though I don't know how well it works.  I got some from Opsgear that I'm going to try out this weekend.  Will let you know.

Edit: I'll follow up after this week's game, but just wanted to let you know that so far, it works great.  I've worn my low-end Skull mask around the house a little bit previously, just to see how foggy it might get, and it was substantial.  I could play with it, but I think that it'd be a lot worse when I'm huffing and puffing up and down a field.  Anyway, I got my spray, used it on the lens and got no fog whatsoever after wearing it for about 15 minutes and running up and down the stairs.  I must've looked like a dufus, though.

Try a mask fan if the whole thermal thing doesn't pan out. And V-Force aren't actually therm I don't think, they have a coating on them that prevents fogging.

Try spit. Doesn't work for me. I use Cat Crap. It's some little rub-on thing, works great.
