Topic: Lapco, or J & J? Posted: 08 June 2004 at 8:44pm |
|
For my completely stock custom m98, which barrell should I get? A
lapco bigshot, or J & J ceramic? What length should I get? I
mostly play woodball. What are the advantages of each barrell?
-Thanks

lapco....despite the fact that I found the JJ is usually cheaper...
barrels should be no longer than 14" any longer and it begins to slow down the ball.

Ceramic isnt small bore, its medium. All medium bore paint shoots really well out of it too. Lapco is way too loud. everyone in the woods will know where ur at.

Out of the two, definately for the Lapco BigShot, probably a 12" would be your best bet. However, if you are looking at playing woodsball, I would highly recomend the Tippmann Flatline. Many say that it "floats" the balls but that is entirely not true. It gives the greatest distance out of any barrel and at the point where people say the balls are "floating", the shots from the other barrels would have already dropped to the ground. I hope this helps, good luck!

I wouldn't mouth off too much if I were you. I doubt u can hang w/ the guy that told u to search even IF he was playin w/ a stock 98c. Mouthing off will only get u bunkered in the head.
