Topic: Im afraid of asking this question but PL Posted: 26 July 2004 at 3:03pm |
Ok I just bought the double trigger for the A-5. I know what to do but i dont know how to do it. To take out the grip (reciever) you have to take out the push pins...how do you to that???? Do you pus it in? Or pull it out. I know on the other side of the gun there is that think sticking out that apart of the push pin. How do i take this think out?!
Thanks, and I'm sorry but im kinda in a hurry to this. Thanks for helping.

Even though I don't own an A-5 (and sometimes I wish I did), your best bet is to either read the instructions that came with your double trigger or to read the instructions that came with your A-5. From what I have heard, it is a fairly easy and simple installation job.
Good luck.

pop out the 3 frame pins with a screwdriver or if there hard to pop out. if not then use ur finger. then pop the saftey out, pull out the old trigger, unscrew the old trigger frame, and then screw on the new one, put the new trigger on the side things that the old one was on make sure u dont lose that small spring, and then put it in, pop the frame abck on, have fun.

They are push pins, you push them.
Follow the instructions and read them throughly. It will help.

Man, I'm pushing them as hard as I possibly can and they are not moving. Why doesn't this damn thing come with instructions. And I made a mistake on my other post, its pins numbers "2" and "3". Any other help is appreciated.

push on the side of the pins with the little metal piece sticking out
of it(sometimes you have to jiggle the grip to get the pins in and out)
you dont have to press the little metal piece down it does it on
its own
play with the push pin on the tombstone its usually easier to
get out

Ok, I got the psuh pins out! YAY!! Now i took out the little "block" with the sear and springs and trigger in it. Took out the single trigger and put in the double trigger with the spring to its left. I just cant figure out ehich damn way to put the sear in!! Like an idiot, i wasnt paying attention to where it goes when i opened it. Can somone help me out on which way to put the sear. I was looking parts diagram and i see which way its facing but i still dont know how to put it in. And to take off the trigger guard you have to take off the whole left plate. To take the whole left plate off do I have to unsrew the screw at the bottom of the grip (there is only one).
I know...I'm an idiot, thanks for putting up with me.
