Now before anybody gets up in arms, yes, i know there are
several different grips that you can buy for the A5 (well...at least one that I can think of) But they all seem to be in the same .45 pistol grip style. What I'm thinking is a whole new style of grip, and several options at that, how about a Z-grip style, akin to the one for the 'mag, or a grip akin to the angel. I know alot of people bash on the A5 as a non speedball gun, but I think a good grip frame, that would allow you to shoulder the gun properly while behind a bunker, would go a long way towards rectifying this problem. The main reason that people find it hard to play speedball with the a5 is that its simply not setup like a speedball gun. A grip that is more forward swept, and easier to grip when you have your air tank seated in the crook of your armso you can fire around a bunker properly would be a godsend. Now don't get me wrong, I love my A5 as a woodsball gun, its great, but when i hit the speedball field, I'd like it if it was a bit easier to wield. Any ideas on either fabricating new grips, or modifying the existing one, it can't be that hard, i mean, the things made of friggin plastic for petes sake. |
