well i heard i heard the dm4 is being discontinued on the account that the new 05 matrix is coming out and is new and improved has anyone else heard this

Well duhh, dye knows if they "discontinue" it, and make a "new" gun with 2 changes, all the agg fools will sell their dm4's for a pittance and pay full price for another gun.

why would they continue to make a past years model anyways? Its pointless.

Car makers do the same thing. Take ford for example. They arent going to keep making this years model of the Mustang, next year, it would be retarded.

every company discontinues previous years models when new ones come out.

Not quite every...    Tippmann still makes the 98 Custom, which hasn't changed in several years...

because the model itself hasnt changed. They produced the A-5, but its a whole different product. They havent changed the design of the 98 custom, so its still the same model, no need to discontinue.

Dye is stopping production of NEW DM4's in order to clear inventory for the 5's. THe 5's wont be sold till all the DM4's are gone, hence the lower price

Im jumping on the band wagon with most all other DM4 owners and selling my 4 for cheap.

I may just pick up a Proto Trix
