So i made a cocker bolt.

Top to bottom, STO stupid venturi bolt, stock 04 bolt carved down, and the SHI Industrial Strength bolt.

Made out of white delrin and aluminum, its considerably lighter then the STO, and a bit lighter then the chopped up 04.

I meant to use thin o-rings for the valve hole, but accidently cut one of the grooves too deep and had to bust out the big fat o-rings.

Looks good. Try it out and tell us how it performs. You might have quite a nice little business if you keep it up. The next lapco

I'll go home, oh I'll go home,
I'll go home in the morning.

Why would you make a bolt that has no hope of ever being as good as a bolt that you could buy...?

The "why" part of this question is too stupid to merit an actual answer.

But as to the underlying sentiment - why do you assume it cannot be better?  I use Shooter's 3DS bolt in my cocker, which is generally considered one of the very best bolts around, and the only difference between Shooter and Enos is that I don't think Shooter wears a trenchcoat.  Shooter is/was just a guy with a lathe in his garage, just like Enos.

Quality is not determined by commercial availability.

Nun-unh. Everybody knows that anything you get from a store is better than anything home-built. And the more expensive the store, the better the product. MTV says so.

Anyway. Nice, Enos. You selling? I've got a cocker that might like that bolt.

Taking the time to draw something up in cad saves LOTS of time when your out in the shop working on it. Even if i do have a bad habit of revising things as i go (note the crossed out dimension)

Even better. This thing is LIGHT.

The bolt alone weighs the same if not less then the stock 04 bolt pin (just the pin)

Also cut down that ultralite pin for it.
