i saw on many websites that say that the dm5 is capable to only 25 bps.. is it capped??? i know that my dm4 isnt. so if u know tell me cause if it is capped i have to find another gun |

I don't think it's capped, but they might just say that to let you know it's capable of shooting that speed. You could always call up Dye and ask them. Hope this helps,

What I'd like to know is, if it's capped, what difference does it make? Why do you need more than 25 bps, even in tournament....it's not practical. If you're into buying a marker for the hype of it being able to knock off a zillion BPS, then you shouldn't be playing. A Cap at 25 is a good idea. I think they should all be capped at 18 or 19. |

^^^ that is so true, even if your trying to keep someone behind a bunker then all you really need is 10bps max, no point going over. watch the pro's play and you will see they don't shoot 25bps, they may do it of the field for show but never in a game. |

^ That's True, I've only seen in one instance where i guy hit 16pbs,
but the Refs threw him out for having a bouncing trigger or somthing...
And also every match I see, they only do around 2-8pbs, and pbs in a
tournment only helps off the Break anyway, all the rest is skill and
accuraccy...
