Can you use a bass on a guitar amp with out any modifications or damage to either guitar amp or bass?
Is there a difference in anything between the two?

The reason I'm asking is cause I looking into buying a bass and I don't want to buy a new amp unless I have to, since I'm on a tight budget.

I wish my grass was emo so it would cut itself.

Don't turn up the volume and Lo/bass EQ setting to much and you should be fine. A bass on a guitar amp might not sound great as a rhythm bass, but you might get some cool sounds out of it.

But, I can't this stress enough...no high volumes. Most guitar speakers can't handle those low frequencies, and could get damaged, over time.

Edit: I would also recommend saving up for a decent bass amp, if you end up buying one. Cheap ones are junk, and sound like it.
