How dumb do i think these americains are?

   ok, to begin with my story, wich in no way reflects the intelegance of any of you* its just a title...

ok so anyways my cousin is from france and he came to canada to do some touristy stuff, and he was visiting us for the week, and we went down the the us for the day because he wanted to look around. he has those "americain express travlers checks" that he got in canada with big red print "CANADIAN FUNDS ONLEY" on the front and back. i see them and ask if i can look look at it, and think to myself hey... i wonder if theyl give us change in canadian dollers. doing my best russian acsent i say "so... how dumb do i think these americains are, il tell you how dumb i think they are.." after looking at me strange for i moment in explain my plan..

we go into this department store and ask were the toques are. after a moment of confusion i explain what they are and she shows us, we pick one up and go to the cashire, a pimply faced teen ager and give him the check, he says "hold on, im new here i gota call the manager" so he dose, the manager comes down looks at the check carfully for a moment and says ok, can i see some id? so my cousin gets out his id, manager looks at it and tells the cashire to give us the change (45 dollers, we used a 50) as we were walking away the manager says "hold on, it says canadian funds onley, i guess i shoulda given you your change in canadian EH?!?! and begins laughing histaricly (kinda scary...) andways, we walked away with our extra 15 some dollers laughing our asses off.

we did this many times in difrent places and probibly made like 80 dollers. and its legal because there the once that made a mistake.
