I have a 98 custom, which i think is an outstanding gun.  The only thing i find wrong with it is the barrel.  I am looking for a NICE barrel but i dont want a really expensive one.  I havent heard much good about the flatlines, and dont really want one.  I was wondering if anyone could tell me anything about a great barrel for a 98 custom.  Distance is not a big deal, im looking for something very accuarate and as quiet as possible.

well the bigshot is very accurate but as loud as a ferrari engine, the j&j ceramic is accurate and quiet, the teardrop is also accurat but personaly i hate the style of it. all of these barrels are around 30-40 us dollars.

you will never get a barrel that is unheard to anyone, the closest you will get to a silent barrel is the stiffi, this is as quite and as accurate as they get without being extremely long and have lots of porting. the downside is that it costs $100

if it moves it becomes a target.

The lapco Bigshot costs in the range of 50-60 American Dollars.

IT is Very loud, but is very accurate because of the fact that it comes pre polished by the factorie, you can see yourself on the inside of one of them.

 Here is a link.

Somewhere under 100.  I am in highschool, and i just play with friends, it is competitive, but im not a pro.  I just want something that i can be accurate with and get more hits.

I had a J&J Ceramic for my 98 and I loved it. You can get one for around 35-40. They are quite, VERY accurate with the right paint, and really durable.

Someone else told me the same thing.  What kind did you have?  If it was so good what made you get rid of it?  And what kind of paint do you need for it?

Can someone tell some good models of the lapco bigshot?  One that they may have, or may have used?
