On the box of my Speed, it has a sticker on it that says "TEAM GUN". Does this mean that someone screwed up and sent a team gun to a dealer and i got lucky. Or does this mean absolutely nothing. Just curious. |

Umm, you probably got somebody elses 05 speed. I don't think there would be a sticker on the gun before you opened it. If you bought it not from a website or local shop, but off ebay then you prolly got a used one. If they said NIB they lied... I mean I just couldn't imagine a sticker coming standard on a $1,000 gun...

the sticker wasn't on the gun itself. It was on the outside of the box itself and then there was shrinkwrap over it. The gun is definitely new. |

Congrats on your purchase. It appears you might have received
what was meant to be a team gun, though I have never seen that sticker
on a box before. Anyhow, air it up, break it in with a few cases,
adjust the LPR, and throw on a volumizer, and you're set. If you
need questions answered, AOG is a helpful resource. The 05 speed
has an awesome trigger, so you will little if any adjustments at all.

It does not mean anything at all. WDP just may have amde a mistake and shipped you a gun that was meant to go to one of their Sponsored Teams. It does not mean that you have a "Super 05 Speed" or a "Used 05 Speed". When you have a company that is open 24hours a day constantly milling bodies and making Markers, it is possible to make a shipping mistake...

I would call Angel and ask them. You paid for the gun so you own it.So unless its absolutely top secret info. they'll help you. Probably a run of the mill team order that was cancelled or changed.
