So, I absolutely love flannel shirts and up till a week ago I thought my girlfriend liked my flannel shirts as well. She never said, or did, anything to suggest otherwise. But then her friend visits from California and suddenly I get ridiculed for wearing them! Even my nicer ones! At the time I figured that as soon as her friend left that would be the end of burning Bobby for his flannel, but no! It continued. And now she has one of my oldest friends against me. It really sucks. I never thought someone could be that against a style fabric. So I was wanting to know what people think about flannel. Keep in mind I live in Western Washington. It likes to be wet and just cold enough that it won't snow.

i think flannel shirts died with grunge, most of the people at my school that wear them are stupid stoners that think Nirvana had the best vocals in the world...i like the music and lyrics...but Cobains voice was just god-awful...

I have fannel sheets but I havent used them in a while.

Fannel shirts were popular in the 70's and the mid 1990's. Are they going for another fad again?

^^ Where I live, flannel is the only thing anyone wears. We have a bunch of hicks out here! Has nothing to do with grundge. Its like a lifestyle out here.

I have flannel pants on right now. Comfy.

But I never wear flannel shirts except MAYBE when I go hunting, and then I wear them under a coat.

But i usually wear a tee shirt and one of my sweatshirts.
