If I were you I'd go with the J&J Ceramic, it is self cleaning, so if you get a break, you can shoot 3 or so times and it'll be clean.  Look at http://www.pbreview.com for more info on all of the barrels.

i would go with the all american because its the most accurate one up there except for the boomstick, thats if u dont mind spending 75 bucks on a barrel. if you wont the best barrel at a good pricae then get the bigshot.

Look down the barrel of your original. It will be matted, with machine tool marks, ridges, etc.

Now find a good barrel, look down it. You will notice that it is polished to a mirror finish.

Barrels, really are not very different from each other. They come in different lengths. They all have some creative porting arrangement which seems to effect the sound more than the paintball. And the most expensive ones come in different bore sizes, which require one to pay attention to the size of paint used. They will all claim to have advantages one above the other.

What am I getting at??   The differences between the good aftermarket barrels are minute, and mostly cosmetic.

Price is what you should pay most attention to. Find a good sale.

^^^to get more people to respond dumb***edited***.it depends on what you play.woodsball=flatline.speedball,etc.,it depends on how much you wanna spend.bigshot and J&J are both great deals,i like the J&J cuz if you get a break you just keep shooting to clean it out.bigshots a little more accurate.the all american with freaks more accurate but not marginally so,its main advantage would be the freak inserts.the boomstick is the most accurate, but its alot more money.so if you can afford it,go with a boomstick,if you dont wanna spend that much,a freak, and if youre on a tight budget,a J&J or bigshot.its all about price and personal preference

how often are you looking down the bore of your barrel?  I'd personally rather have a smooth bore... but thats just my opinion, and for $60 I'd rather grab a bigshot or an oldschool AA
