Zepplin.  AD/DC is good, but Zepplin has more talent.  Jimmy Page one of, if not the best guitarists ever.

He is infact probably one of the most overrated guitarists ever. The same goes for AC/DC, Led Zeppelin and classic rock in general. Very overrated.

Comparing guitarist isn't going to take you anywhere because there are so many different styles.

It's like me saying Lasoya is the greatest paintball player when there are people better than him in xball, woodsball and so on.  For their genre, all those guitarist are legends.

I wasn't comparing guitarists at all. I was just stating that many people are uneducated and think that Page is god's gift to guitar. But really hes not that special.

But to say that he is not special means your comparing him to someone.  I agree with you, hes definently not the best, but he was good. But to compare guitarist is like comparing genres of music.  There are so many styles your going to be biased in who you choose.

I would take Zep, but these bands are about as far apart from each other as you can be and stay in the same genre.

Led Zeppelin is more talented vocally and musically, but ACDC had a lot of energy and was fun to listen to.

And for Apu, Page is far from the best but he is not generally overated, i recently viewed the Led Zep DVD with one of my friends and was blown away by all of the members musical ability, i watched Page play a double neck, do a solo with a violin bow, and play a lot of songs by himself that were insane but never published. Some of his best work is not on any of the albums.

I like Zeppelin better, but neither are that great.  If you want really good riffs, listen to some Clapton or even Live Hendrix stuff...

Random_Person is right.  You're wrong Apu. Jimmy Page is awesome.  And never diss on classic rock. you probably like slipknot and Disturbed and that crap.

Come on i dont really like AC/DC i dont like the sound or the singer, the origional one was better but nobody is as good as Led Zeppelin, Pink Floyd comes so close. I wish Led Zeppelin was still a band,  i got all their albums, and jimmy page is the best guitarist ever (in my opinion)
