my A5 lasts only 500-1000 paintballs until the rear bolt wears down. I have already replaced the rear bolt once because the sear would not catch the rear bolt. Now i replaced the rear bolt and put plenty of gun oil so its lubed. it lasted 1000 shots and now its doing the same thing the sear is not catching the rear bolt. please help i cant figure out the problem the sear is not rounded. i made sure the long trigger spring is under the sear. any help would be nice. i have the responce trigger and the flatline (which works very well) other than that the gun is stock.  p.s.  i did not install the responce trigger it came already installed

i have noticed that this wear and tear on the rear bolt is very common with the response trigger.  i have shot more than 5 cases with my response trigger, and i have not had any problems.  I installed my response trigger, and i did a perfect job too. the response trigger was a a new product, and that was one of it's flaws.  there really is no way of stopping the rear bolt wear.  the only thing you can do to reduce it is to try and fire more single rate of fire, or get rid of the RT.  The rear bolt wears down no matter what even if you don't have thre RT, but the RT wears it down a lot quicker. just oil it a lot, and make sure that your sear is in good shape.  if your sear is rigged or something it can scratch and eat up the rear bolt.

Sear spring sounds like it has way too much tension on the sear carving a groove in your bolt. If you haven't already, call Tipp. and see if they have a fix.

the responce trigger could wear down ur rear bolt because it makes the gun shoot really fast and scince it is shooting really fast it will wear it down, try playing again with ur gun and a new bolt and turn of the responce trigger and see how many times it shoots without wearing down the bolt.good luck

Are you sure the rear bolt is getting worn? It may just be the sear spring not having enough tension. Or, there could be a valve problem not realeasing enough air to push it back far enough. Check into the valve, and also make sure it's not the SEAR that is worn down. Usually, if you replace the rear bolt due to being worn you're supposed to also replace the sear at the same time.
