My F/A has "ADCO 1" printed on the left side of the reciever an inch or so back from the front.  This looks like something done at the factory.  The gun's SN is 1800.

I have no idea what the "ADCO" is all about.  Has anyone else seen anything else like this?  I've never seen this on an F/A before.  The guy that sold it to me allegedly bought it from a Tippmann employee (might have been ex-employee, not sure).

theres a gun store called adco firearms online and i think in colorodo. maybe the gun was sold from there years ago, and the put their name on it like on cars. doesnt make much sense, but thats my only guess.

nice F/A! i almost bought one. very cool gun.

edit: upon further research, i have discovered that there is a large and professional machine shop and company in california. tippmann may have temporarily used this place to make some of the parts or prototypes for their new F/A back then. and the "1" may mean prototype 1. but its hard to say. if so, youd be rich!

My main gun is a .68 carbine, love the thing :)  my .68 Special is way older though, check 'em out:  Clicky  Even as old as the .68 Carbines are, they are STILL using the same valve design in the new Tippys

At any rate...  your old carbine had "ADCO #" printed on it as well?  Hmm, maybe I need to fire off an e-mail to Tippmann and see if anyone there knows
