I don't know what to do. This Past weekend I was using my Alias at practice and it pooped on me. Im having alot of problems with it and Im considering selling it after I get it back from BLAST. If I did this I would probable get an 05 Proto Matrix. What do you guys think should I sell the Alias and get a Proto or keep the Alias and deal with the problems? Also how is the Proto Matrix. One of the people on our team has one and let me use it (since I had no gun by that time) and I really liked it. It was small and fast but I wasn't crazy over the trigger. I had also heard from reviews that wires in the proto have a tendency to fall out and the solnoid has a habit of comming out when you try to adjust the trigger. Is this true?

Sell the Alias, get a Proto. I've taken my gripframe off numerous
times, and not once have I broken a wire. Like Civilian Of said, it's
user error that breaks the wires. If you don't like the trigger
on a proto, you could buy a FBM trigger, or a Techna, even though the
wait for Techna's are upwards of 9 weeks.

OK. How about the Cp roller trigger. When I was reading up about the Proto it seemed like alot of people who upgraded thier trigger got a Cp roller. Also one other thing. Is the proto stock board PSP legal? |

I have the money but I don't feel like spending that much again. Also I like the feel of the proto better then the DM4/5. Its smaller and IMO lighter then the DM5, it also IMO isn't as bulky. I tried and shot all those guns except the Cyborg. I hate Angels and SP guns. I would consider the Cyborg but Im kind of sick of the open bolt stacked tube design. Its such a pain to align the Ram and bolt.

deffinatly not a SP gun there way overated. if you play back i would
look into a new timmy, but i kno money is hard to come by sometimes, the protos are nice, tight, light, and fast guns. the CP roller trigger is one of the best IMO. My teamate has one on his DM4, i wanna get it soon. i've had only one problem with my dm4 wires (not a proto...but almost same concept) and that was becuase it was my fault. plus DYE/Proto has excellent customer service. All in all i would go with the proto its an awesome gun, and its also good to get a new toy every once in a while. |

Stock board isn't PSP legal, I'm guessing, because of the 15bps cap. If
you buy from TMC, they will flash your board with M3 software for like
$25, which has ramp, psp mode..etc. The roller trigger is also a good
trigger, but I'm just more of a fan of double triggers other than
blades, for the sole purpose of raking.

I don't know I would have to try the Dm5 to see if I like it. TMC whats the website to that company. It sounds like a good deal and I would need the new board anyway since I play PSP X-ball.

It has nothing to do with that. It has to do with the fact that almost all the Impy, and Shockers I have seen have been unreliable junk. They constantly break down over and over again.
